How to Add categories in Blogger blog header

categories are really useful for a website. categories can help your blog readers to find only the data which they want to see. like other websites, you can also create categories in your blogger blog. don't you know how? then this post will show you. see the following steps to create categories in blogger blog.

Add categories in Blogger blog

1. sign in your blogger account.
2. go to the blog where you want to add categories.
3. from a blog, dashboard click on the template link.
   
4. your blog template snapshot will appear. right bellow you will Edit HTML button click on this button.
   
5. now your template code is displaying in the text box.
   
6. click anywhere on the code. press CTRL+F and search a category that is already added. in some template, default categories are like menu 1, menu 2 etc. you can replace that categories with your own.
7. after finding the category just replace the category code with the following HTML code. 
   

<li><a href='add your label, category link here'>menu 1</a></li>

in the above code just replace add your label, category link here. with your label link, actually in blogger, we used labels to categorize our data, posts. your label link looks like the following link.
http://www.92tricks.blogspot.com/label/blogger
the label can be added from post writing page. I hope you have seen an option "labels" in the Post Creating Page. this option is for adding a category in blogger blog.
